James (Big Jay) Campbell 63 of Raytown, Missouri passed away April 15, 2008. Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm, Friday April 18, 2008, at Mt. Washington Forever Chapel Mausoleum, in Independence, Missouri. Visitation will start at 11:00 am, prior to the service at 12:00. Burial will be at Floral Hill Cemetery. James is survived by one daughter Jo Ellen (Jodie) Butterfield, 2 grandchildren Garrett Andrew Butterfield of Lincoln, MO and Victoria Danelle Holder of Raytown. One brother, Chris Campbell, wife Mary and son Matthew of Independence, MO. One aunt, Mary Caulfield and husband Bill of North Ft. Meyers, Florida and numerous cousins around the country. Jay was preceded in death by father Fred E. (Bood) Campbell and mother Ellen Nadine Campbell of Independence. Jay retired from the Jackson County Dept. of Corrections after 20 years of service and was a past board member of North East Alumni Association. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Kansas City Hospice. Family and friends may leave messages of condolences at www.forevercemeteries.com. Arrangements; Mt.
