Lynnda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Paul; mother, Shirley (Joe) Sorensen Campbell of Clarion; son, Jerome (Tammy) Abels of Altoona; daughter, Leslie (Steve) Soulis of Altoona; daughter, Caia Abels (Marty Tittle) of Earlham; sister, Penny (Mark) Dorris of Altoona; brother, Dan (Diane) Sorensen of Goldfield; 11 grandchildren, Joshua, Mackenzie, Macayla, Jillian, Lauren, Jordan, Brandon, Malai, Collin, Sophia and Emma and 1 step-grandson, Jacob. Lynnda is preceded in death by her father, Lynn and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 Fourth Street SW, Altoona. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A second funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Goldfield United Methodist Church, 121 W. Chestnut St., Goldfield, IA., burial to follow at Goldfield Cemetery.
