Funeral services wre held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 13 at Vernal Presbyterian Church for Rufus B. Churchwell, 66, of Lucedale who died March 10, 2008 at the local healthcare facility.
Rev. Stacy Douglas and Rev. Joe Rolinson officiated. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Churchwll was born Sept. 10, 1941 in Mobile, Ala. He worked in the woods division for International Paper Company and also served in the army. Mr. Churchwell attened Vernal Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Camille Churchwell of Lucedale; one brother, Gabriel T. (Mildred) Churchwell, III of Leakesville and one sister Mary Helen (Jarvis)Dearman of Leakesville.
