Former Philothea resident Rosa A. Kremer, 85, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater. She was born August 29, 1910, in St. Sebastian, to Charles and Louise (Piekenbock) Depweg. On May 15, 1935, she married Frank F. Kremer, who died May 10, 1983. Survivors are a daughter and her husband, Delores and Cletus Abels-Schmitz, St. Henry; two sons and their wives, Donald and Donna of Coldwater and Jerry and Joyce of Celina; two sisters, Marcella Keller, St. Henry, and Esther Kramer of Dayton; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Frank and Urban, and two sisters, Josephine Wenning and Matilda Bellert. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Philothea. Funeral mass is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Louis Barga officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. (Obituary contributed by Jim)
