Robert F. Amspacher, 67, of Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, York, passed Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the home where he lived since 1985.

Robert was born on April 23, 1940, in McSherrystown, a son of Ella L. (Lemmon) Amspacher of Shrewsbury and the late Edwin N. Amspacher. He had been employed as a Loom Operator for 11 years with the Keystone Wire Cloth Co. in Hanover and prior to that was a material handler with Myers Canning Co. in Spring Grove and Reading and worked at the Sheltered Workshop in New Oxford for several years. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.

In addition to his mother, he also leaves three sisters and their husbands, Dolores and Fred Thoman of Hanover, Peggy and David Shaffer of York and Linda and Burnie Wolfe of York; and six brothers and their wives, Edwin and Dolores Amspacher of York, John and Charlene Amspacher of Glen Rock, James and Shirley Amspacher of Codorus, Thomas and Judy Amspacher of York, Richard and Debra Amspacher of Spring Grove and Donald and Sheree Amspacher of Landisville.

Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ UCC Church Cemetery, Christ Church Road, Littlestown.
