A fall down a flight of cellar steps through a door she mistook for one leading to a bedroom was fatal to Mrs. W. E. Bailey of Marshville at 2125 Kenilworth avenue here yesterday morning.

Freeland was killed in a similar wreck near Spartanburg, and in 1907 a third brother, John Freeland, died in a railroad wreck between Asheville and Spartanburg.
