ANTLERS (AP) -- A fisherman whose body was discovered in a Pushmataha County lake more than a week ago has been identified as a 57-year-old Wilburton man, authorities said.

Leo Charles Barry Jr. disappeared during a fishing trip to Sardis Lake, according to the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Department and the Oklahoma Lake Patrol.

Barry had been fishing with other fishermen on Oct 3 and remained at the lake when the others left, authorities said.

They said his body was discovered the next day in Sardis Cove in shallow water below the Jack Fork Creek Bridge.
