Funeral services for Mrs. Cushion A. (Thacker) Brooks, 89, was held at 1 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Raymond Welch officiated. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks died Monday in Columbus.
Surviving are two sons, Charles and Lawrence; six daughters, Mrs. Helen Longacre, Mrs. Pauline Winks, Mrs. Edith Lucille Graham, and Mrs. Evelyn Lohr, all of Columbus; Mrs. Bertha Sweet of Waverly; and Mrs. Gladys Cox of Chillicothe; and 28 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Columbus arrangements were made by the O. R. Woodyard Funeral Home, 255 E. State St.
