Mrs. J.C. Hardy Dies of Illness
Mrs. J.C. Hardy Sr., 82, died Tuesday morning in a Hawkinsville hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Gardner Watson Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. The Elder C.E. Dairty was officiating minister, assister by Elder George Hunt.
Survivors include one son, J.C. Hardy, Jr., of Perry; two daughters, Mrs. J.D. Linton of Perry and Mrs. Sol Skipper of Skipperton; seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Hardy was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and was born and lived in Houston County all her life.
