She was a graduate of St. Mary's Episcopal College, Raleigh, NC.
She was predeceased by her husband, T. R. "Dick" Garlington, in 1983.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be at 1p Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City. The Rev. Richard Rohrer of First United Methodist Church of Stuart will officiate.
Those who wish may contribute to the church's building fund at PO Box 539, Stuart, FL 34995; or to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, PO Box 1168, Stuart, FL 34995. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
