Mrs. Smith was born July 21, 1927, in Chester, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late George and Agnes Rennie Keil. She was a graduate of Chester High School -- class of 1945, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Washington. She was a retired bookkeeper with Smith Brothers, Inc. and Giant Discount Stores. On March 27, 1946, she was married to Marvin Lester Smith Sr. She is survived by 2 children, six grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
