Dolores Adele Belcher, age 90, of Clayton, GA. went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2007 while living in Fidelia Eckerd Living Center in Highlands, NC. She was born in Hartford, Alabama on June 19, 1917 to David E. and Fairby M. Simmons Whiddon. She was married to Howard E. Belcher who passed away January 2, 1976. She was a homemaker and attended Liberty Baptist Church in Tiger, GA.
She is survived by three daughters, Gwendolyn Scott of Clayton, GA, Iris Scrivener of Sevierville, TN and Janice Vaughn of Orlando, FL. Nine grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6 at 3:00 Pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home in Ocoee, FL. with Pastor Scott Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Lake Hill Cemetary in Orlo Vista, FL.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 6 from 1:00-3:00PM, two hours prior to the service at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home
