BARTLE KATHERINE A San Carlos resident for most of her life, passed away on January 16, 2002, after a long illness. Preceded in death in 1980 by her husband Don Bartle, Katherine is survived by her brother, William White of Sunnyvale; son Ron Laran of San Bruno; son Don Bartle of San Carlos; daughters Patricia Giuntoli &Mary Fisher of San Carlos; daughter Beverly Borghi of San Mateo, and seven loving grandchildren. Katherine was an art lover and a talented painter, enjoying her craft up until the last months of her life. Her absence will be keenly felt within her family, and among her art colleagues, friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be held on Monday, 1/21 from noon until 7 pm, followed by a Vigil Service at White Oaks Chapel in San Carlos. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 1/22 at 10 am, at St. Charles Church in San Carlos, followed by burial at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Katherine's name to: Peninsula Humane Society, 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94401. God Bless.
