Joetta Badiali, 81, of Fair Play died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, Bolivar.

The daughter of Roy S. and Sarah A. Sawyer Griffin, she was born March 22, 1926, at Fair Play.

A resident of Fair Play since 1995, she had formerly lived in California. She was a homemaker and member of the Fair Play United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Melanie Curl of Bolivar; 3 grandchildren, Timothy Curl, Brett Curl and wife Michelle and Michael Curl and wife Holly; six great-grandchildren, Ryker, Brittian, Thomas, Ramsey, Ashton and Kaitlyn; a brother, Jack Griffin and wife Dorothy of Fair Play; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Shady Grove Cemetery with Pastor Courtney Henderson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.murrayfuneralhomes.com.
