Kelly I. Doran, 96, of 403 North St., Eaton, died Monday, May 28, at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Scott County, Virginia, lived in Preble County most of his life. He was a retired Dixon Township farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Ethel L., in 1983.
Survivors include four daughters, Evelyn Richardson of Oxford, Thelma Bolinger, Cledith Bresher, and Phyllis Smith all of Eaton; three sons, Bill Doran of Camden, Ronald Doran of Eaton, and Russell Doran of Oxford; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Two brothers and four sisters preceeded him in death.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, at 1 p.m. at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Fred Hill officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening, May 31, from 6-9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Emergency Squad or the First Baptist Church.
