MARDELL BOWMAN DIES IN MICHIGAN
Mrs. Mardell L. Bowman, 63, a native of Monroe, died suddenly late Sunday afternoon at her home, 6095 Wolfe Lake road, Grass Lake, Michigan.

She was born at Monroe, May 22, 1908, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis O. Hocker, and taught school in this area before moving to Grass Lake 40 years ago.

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Cheri Bowman, at home; one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Mabel) Vizard of Decatur and brother, Kermit O. Hocker of Napoleon, Mich. Her husband, Charles Bowman, died nine years ago.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nichols funeral home, 820 Fifth Street, Michigan Center, Mich. Burial will be in Oakgrove Cemetery at Napoleon, Mich. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
