OBITUARY
Mrs. G.C. Roop, 74, died at her home on Clinton pike yesterday at noon.

She is survived by eight children, Mrs. J.S. Altom, Mrs. Pilkie, Mrs. C.D. Marshall, Powell Station, Mrs. T.C. Kelley, of Beaver Ridge, A.W. Roop, R.B. Roop, G.W. Roop, Powell Station and J.A. Roop, Knoxville. There are 38 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The deceased has one brother, Andy Cooper, Lenoir City and one sister, Mrs. Martha Jenkins, Powell Station.

The funeral serices will be conducted by Rev. W. Jennings at the Bell Camp Ground M.E. Church Friday at 2 o'clock. Interment to follow at King Cemetery.
