Hobson
CAMERON — Graveside services for Ollie Marie "Skip" Hobson, 63, of Cameron were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Marlow Cemetery near Cameron with Rev. Gary Maroney officiating.
Mrs. Hobson died Friday, Jan. 4, at her home.
An assistant director of nursing at the Cameron Nursing Center, she was born Oct. 2, 1944, in Escambia County, Alabama, to Everett Lamar and Helen Marie (Sheppard) Wilson.
She married John Perry Hobson on Feb. 25, 1992.
Mrs. Hobson was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron and Texas Association of Nurses.
Survivors are her husband, John Perry Hobson of Cameron; a son, Wayland Shaver of Baytown; three daughters, Leah Shaver of Tomball, Jeanell Whiteley of Willis, and Ava Elaine Chamberlain of Rome, Georgia; her mother, Helen Wilson of Cameron; and a brother, Stephen Lamar Wilson of Spring; also, four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
