The death of Miss Maud S Jacobs, the second daughter of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Jacobs of Concord, took place yesterday morning at 9"30 o'clock. Her death was caused by tuberculosis, and was the termination of a lingering illness. She was born on December 27, 1883, in the community in which she died. She was a young woman of beautiful character and had a host of friends. She was cheerful through her illness, and her patience won for her the admiration of all. Her decline was watched with regret by relatives and friends and her death is deeply deplored. The funeral cortege will leave the residence Saturday morning a 8:30 o'clock and the remains will be taken to the Methodist church in Dayton, where the funeral services will be conducted by Rev Charles Jakes of Stockwell. The interment will be made in the Dayton Cemetery.
