Survivors include her daughters: Dolores Mills of Cecilia; Estelle Boudreaux and her husband Silton; Earline Bihm and her husband Tracy of Palmetto, Jacqueline Chapman and her husband Ray of Lafayette: her sister Ethia Richard (Alphin) of Cankton; grandchildren Carolyn Mills Herr, Janice Mills Mellinger, Lita Mills, Evelyn Mills LeBlanc, Keith Boudreaux, Cynthia Bordelon, Lorraine, Samuel, and Aaron Boudreaux, Sandy Bihm Zarwulkoff, Kelsey and Eric Bihm, Allen Chapman and Amy Chapman Burrows; 28 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Hernandez, her parents Adolph Savoie and Scholastique Domengeau; her siblings Marcelus, Aglia, and Wilfred Savoie, Blanche Comeaux, Clarise and Alfred Savoie, Therese Bourque, Celimen Speyrer, Beulah and Marie Savoie; her son-in-laws J.C.
