Mary Frances Johnson

Mrs. Mary Frances Johnson, 84, of Greenwood, died of heart failure Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Graveside services were held Friday, February 13, at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Winona with the Rev. Danny Irvin officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Kilmichael and resided in the Greenwood area most of her married life. She was the widow of the late B.L. Johnson. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and was employed for over 30 years at Star Tailors as a salesperson. She had been a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home for the past six months.

Survivors include one son, Wilson A. Johnson of Prairieville, La.; one daughter, Nan Hagan of Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ken Roberson, Tim Roberson, Tom Roberson, Theron Powell, Thomas Powell, and Conrad Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers were Pete Buchanan, Mike Leard, and Hubert Moore.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
