YORK Dorothy J. (Raub) Green, 76, died Monday, December 24, 2007, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Green, Sr. to whom she was married for 54 years. A memorial service and burial will be held in the spring at Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born June 13, 1931, in Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Franklin P. and Zetta [Hellems] Raub. She had worked at Bernstein's Sewing Factory and was a teacher's aid for the Lincoln Intermediate Unit. She was a life member of Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, where she was active with the Sisters in Caring Group. She was a member of Suburban Garden Club, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 169, and enjoyed volunteering at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown. Mrs. Green is survived by a son, Robert E. Green, Jr. of York New Salem; two daughters, Patti L. Green of York, and Debra J. and husband, Richard A. Kopecki of Hellam; two grandchildren, Ashley L. Green and Bobby Green, III; a great-grandson, Kaden David Scheivert; a brother, Kenneth Raub of Elmira, N.Y.; and two sisters, Betty Forester of Butler and Beverly Berwell of Lafayette, Ind. She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Raub.
