Adeline "Sis" Frances Zakrzewski, 89, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007. She was born on Nov. 15, 1918 to the late Leon and Cecilia Lukas.
She was a precious loving wife, mother and grandmother and a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Guild and worked for Times Printing Company.
Sis was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Zakrzewski, two sisters, Mary Bennett and Lucy Sipella and brother, Andrew Lukas.
Survivors are one son, Eugene "Zak" Zakrzewski and wife, Robin of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Veolette Pennington and husband, Michael, of Sherwood. Amanda, Zachary, and Rebekah Zakrzewski, of North Little Rock; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Gabrielle Pennington, of Sherwood.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2007. The family will receive friends following the rosary until 9:00 p.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400). Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19th and Maple, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.
