Tanya Tucker-Two Sparrows In A Hurricane

I guess It Never Hurts To Hurt Sometimes

I Sure Miss You

♥Mom was born in Pineville, Ky to William Sinkhorn and Dora Elizabeth (Bowling) Sinkhorn. She & Dad (Elbert Coots) were married October 28, 1944. Mom and dad were married 62 yrs. & 3 mos. when she passed away. Over the years she has wrote pages & pages of poems from her heart of which she has touched the countless lives of those who have read them. She sent out thousands of cards to people she didn't even know through a card ministry. She received a commendation from Senator Damon Thayer of the state of KY for her work, which we are so proud of.
She would always sit in her favorite chair through the day and the wee hours of the morning, praying to Jesus for her family and all the people she has come to know in her life. She was always there when you needed her. Great person, wife, mother, grandmother, cook and friend. God rest her soul. We miss you, Mom! I could go on and on about Mom, but what you have read here doesn't began to tell you how great she really was and still is in our hearts and thoughts.........Mom passed away in that favorite chair she was always sittin' in.♥

Through family research my mammaw Dora Elizabeth Bowling Sinkhorn is the ninth great granddaughter of Pocahontas. My mom Roberta Sinkhorn Coots is tenth great granddaughter, and that makes me, Carolyn Darlene Coots/Tankersley the eleventh great granddaughter of Pocahontas.☺

I want to thank Joyce, Timothy, Darlene and Rosie and all the rest of my friends on Find A Grave for helping me jump through the ropes here. YAH bless each and every one of you all dearly! I ALSO WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE WHO STOPS BY TO VISIT AND LEAVE FLOWERS FOR MOM'S MEMORIAL. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! I'M NOT ON HERE SOMETIMES LIKE I WOULD LIKE TO BE, SO REMEMBER ME AND MY FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS AS I WILL EACH OF YOU AND YOURS!

This song was a favorite of my mom's just before she passed away and somehow I think she knew she was going away:

♥I'll Be Waiting For You♥

When I face my last trial and take my last stand
When I finish my course here below
If the path that I'm traveling should lead to death's door
There is one thing I'd like you to know

(chorus)
I'll be waiting for you over yonder
I'll keep searching 'til you make it in
It will not be complete until you're there with me
I'll be waiting 'til you reach that land

It was God's will that brought us together in life
And gave us a great family
I'd like to view heaven's beauty with you by my side
I'll be waiting 'til your face I see

(chorus)
I'll be waiting for you over yonder
I'll keep searching 'til you make it in
It will not be complete until you're there with me
I'll be waiting 'til you reach that land

♥GONE HOME♥

I'm resting here in peace
A view for family and friends
Trusting you all will understand
Where I've gone and where I've been
Where I was for many years
Was there with you on earth
Where I'm gone it's called heaven
Where there is no pain or hurt
I prayed so many prayers
With my eyes so full of tears
That all the family would find
There way to make it here
I trust that Jesus listened
And He'll surely make a way
For all of them to join me
Where forever it is day
The streets of this city
Are paved with purest gold
The awesome of it's beauty
Is for all to behold
My earthly journey has ended
I have no more part under the sun
I'll be living here forever
Where I want you all to come
So give each other a hug
Don't shed any tears
My soul is resting with Jesus
I'll be waiting to see you here,
So long down there, I'll see you here,
My love to all......

♥MY DEAR PARENTS♥

Dearest mom, dearest dad,
I'm so overwhelmed with sad.
No more phone calls like before,
No more your shadows to grace my door.

So many days I feel you near,
I look around and you're not there.
A lonesome feeling it is for me,
For your faces no more do I see.

I have your pictures to gaze upon,
To remember the days that are long gone.
Such a sadness I feel within my heart,
Since the time back when you both had to part.

But each day brings us closer to when,
We all shall see each other again.
A glorius reunion it shall be,
To be together again for eternity.

♥MOM'S LAST PRAYER♥

On January twenty fifth, two thousand seven
The death angel came and took you to heaven
As you made your way to your favorite chair
I know you were praying your last prayer

Since you left, our lives haven't been the same
I find myself often calling your name
"Mom" I say, "I miss you so much,
Your sweet embrace, your loving touch"

I've always heard that time can heal
But for me each day, it's ever so real
Remembering the day you went away
Will always and forever in my heart stay

I picture you there by the crystal sea
Patiently waiting for your family
One by one to join you there
I'm sure that was "your last prayer"

So mom, keep waiting and watching for
Each of us to join you on heaven's shore
One by one, we'll meet you there
Then God will have answered "your last prayer"
