CHARLES A. LYON

Charles A. Lyon, 65, of 427 Thompson Ave. died Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at City Hospital.

He was born in Hookstown Jan. 3, 1901, and was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad C.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Belva Torrence Lyon, at home; a son, Dr. Wilbert A. Lyon of Sellersville, Pa.; two sisters, Miss Emma Lyon and Mrs.Orris (Jeanette) Cundiff, both of Chester; two brothers, Roy Lyon of East Liverpool and Clifford Lyon of Hookstown R.D. 1, and five grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown, with the Rev. A.R. Grafton of the Avondale Free Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
