Ruth Benhoff, 81, of O'Fallon, Ill., born March 15, 1926 in Lebanon, Ill., died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Covenant Care of O'Fallon.
Ruth was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, the Homemakers Club of O'Fallon and retired as an auditor at Brooks Foods in Collinsville after 32 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William & Carrie, nee Campe, Meinhardt.
Ruth is survived by her husband Wilfred Benhoff of O'Fallon, Ill., special cousin Pauline Anger of Lebanon, Ill., other cousins; Pauline Campe of Lebanon, Marilyn Wherle of Trenton, Dale Boots of Florida, Dona & John Schippe of Lebanon, Karen & Bill Mateyka of Edwardsville, best friends; Norman & Jan Jolenbach of Red Bud, nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross Street, Shiloh, Ill., with Father James Deiters officiating.
Burial will be at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Ill.
