McCardle, Ashley Nicole

A vibrant teenager who enjoyed visiting with friends, horseback riding, fishing with her dad and playing with her dogs, Scrappy Doo and Damien, passed away in Largo, Fla., on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007. She was 19 years young. A 2004 graduate of Central High School, Ashley was a student at Remington College in Largo. She was a Junior Olympic in-line speed skater who traveled around the country skating and trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado, having trained with Olympic medalists. Ashley is survived by her mother, Debbie Ingalls McCardle; a half sister, Alexis McCardle; a half brother, Chase McCardle; maternal grandparents, Barbara Ingalls and Jerrell Ingalls; paternal grandparents, Robert Floyd McCardle Sr. and Faye Jarred; and paternal great-grandmothers, Genevieve McCardle and Beverly Beasley. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Floyd McCardle Jr.; half sister, Jordan McCardle; paternal great-grandparents, Floyd McCardle and Allen Beasley; and maternal great-grandparents, George and Pearl Ingalls and Leland and Verlie Duplessis. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Nov. 23, from noon to 8 p.m. and on Saturday in the chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Craig Nelms of First Baptist Church, Port Allen. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
