Robert C. Perkins, Sr., 64, died Monday, March 1, 1999 at his residence. Born May 29, 1934 he was the son of the late Harry and Sylvia Pulliam Perkins. He was retired from the former A&P Food Store of Harrodsburg and the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Christian Church, and attended the Southland Christian Church in Lexington. He was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include: his wife, Jo Ann Chandler Perkins, Harrodsburg; one son, Robert C. Perkins Jr., Harrodsburg; one daughter, Janet Perkins Poland, Georgetown, one brother, William H. Perkins Sr., Jeffersontown; one grandson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 3, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with David Scalf, Andrew Alexander and Terry Morrison officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
