Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne L. Ferrell will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale - Downtown location with Reverend Olan McLaurn officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery, Pitkin under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mrs. Ferrell, 71, of Elizabeth entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 10, 2008 in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

Yvonne loved gardening and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ferrell; her parents, James and Annie Lou Doxey and one brother, Connie Doxey.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Cindy Elliott-Conrad and her husband, Uwe of Wichita Kansas; four brothers, Billy Ray Doxey of Elizabeth, James Doxey of Pitkin, Bobby L. Doxey of Dallas and Johnnie Doxey of Oakdale and two sisters, Mollie Wheatcraft of Oakdale and Dorothy Moore of Elizabeth.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale - Downtown location on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m.
