Services for Mrs. Duane (Margery A.) Cram of Quimby, Iowa, formerly from Aurelia, Iowa, were at 1:30p.m. at the Wharton Funeral Home in Aurelia. The Rev. Ron Kitterman officiated, and burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Aurelia. Cram died Saturday evening, Jan. 28, 1989, at Sioux Valley Hosp., Cherokee, Iowa, after a short illness.
Margery A. Gilbert was born Jan. 13, 1921 in Cherokee to John and Iva Gilbert. She graduated from Larrabee High School, Larrabee, Iowa, in 1938. On Aug. 3, 1941, she married Duane Cram in Cherokee. They lived in Aurelia, and since 1978 lived in Quimby.
She is survived by her husband, Duane; 3 daughters, Mrs. William (Jackie)Stutz, Flagstaff, AZ.; Mrs. Michael (Lona) Lease, Englewood, Colorado; and Mrs. Phillip (Patricia) Spencer, Meriden, Iowa; 1 sister, Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Castleberry, Warren, Ark.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister.
