WALLACE--Henry Andersen, 77, died April 7, 1997, at his farm home south of Wallace. He was born April 25, 1919, near Fairfield to Ramus and Elna Andersen. He grew up near Edgar and attended school through the ninth grade. On Dec. 7, 1945, he married Doris Oltmans at Nelson. In 1949, they moved to their present home south of Wallace. Mr. Andersen enjoyed planting trees in the Wallace area. He also appreciated animals of all types but most of all his beloved horse, "Dolly." He appeared in many county fairs and parades with Dolly and a buggy. He was a member of the Wallace Methodist Church and the Wheels and Whip Club. Surviving him is his wife; a daughter, Sara (Dennis) Miller of North Platte; a son, David of Trenton; three grandchildren, Joni, Jeff and Angie Miller; and three sisters, Edna Johnson of Lincoln, Dorothy Shaw of Edgar and Norma Nielson of Littleton, Colo.
