GEORGE ADAMS DEAD; FUNERAL ON TUESDAY

MANY ATTEND SERVICE AT THE M. E. CHURCH

Reached Age of 58; Wife and Also Three Children Are Left To Mourn.

George Adams, son of Jacob and Rebecca (Hart) Adams, was born near French Grove, April 27, 1860, and died at his home southwest of Princeville, Saturday, June 15, 1918, aged 58 years, 1 month and 18 days.

The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Tuesday morning in charge of L. P. Bear the pastor. The remains were interred in the Princeville cemetery. The following sketch of the life of Mr. Adams was read at the funeral of Mr. Adams.

September 19, 1886, he was united in marriage to Mary Kellstadt and to this union were born three children, Eva, at home; Frederick, married and residing in Akron township, and Stella, wife of Arthur Vogel, residing in Princeville township. These three children with two grandchildren and a loving and true wife, still live to mourn the loss of a true and faithful father and husband whose place in the family circle can never be filled.

All the medical skill and loving hands could do to keep with us this our honored, true, never-failing and faithful friend was done, but God knows best and we commit him to Him whose loving care is never failing. As a husband and father, no sacrifice was too great for him to make, for the effort and culture of the inmates of his household. Unbounded labor judiciously directed, brought to his home every temporal blessing that could be desired.

He was one whose strict integrity could not be questioned and whose word was equal in value, to his bond. Those who knew him best honored and loved him most.

Princeville Telephone, June 1918.

He married Mary Kellstadt, m. Sept. 19, 1886.
