Webb City, Dorothy L. Reynolds age 74 passed away Sunday morning at 5:10 a.m. October 7, 2007.

She was born on July 3, 1933 to Ed Cupp and Maude McCarty Cupp in Sweetwater, TX. Dorothy was employed by the Dawson Cabinet Company and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Dorothy was married to Trendell Dalton Reynolds, Sr. on December 13, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1981.

Survivors include sons Gary Reynolds of Seneca, Jerry and Larry Reynolds of Joplin, Terry Reynolds of Carl Junction and Dalton Reynolds of Carterville; daughters Barbara Owens of Granby, Yvonne Bird of Britt, Iowa, Anita Demery of Carterville and Mechelle Smith of Webb City; sisters Mary Simonson, Opal Cupp, Patsy Edwards and Margaret Sturgis all of Joplin, Joyce Melton of Texas and Maybelle Cook of Springfield; brother Everitt Cupp of Texas; 38 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by, a daughter Debra Miller, sisters Cherry Cupp, Ovella Kirkman, Rosie Terry, a brother Charles Cupp and her parents.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Wilkins officiating and burial will follow at the Webb City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City between 6-7 Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City.
