Services for A.O. (Dutch) Bethea, 72, of Caddo Mills will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Chapel in Caddo Mills with Rev. Fred Durham officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
He died Wednesday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born June 20, 1904 in Caddo Mills, he was the son of Dixon and Maggie Bethea. He married Bonnie Barnhardt Oct 22, 1929 in Caddo Mills. Mr. Bethea was a retired butcher.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Barnie Bethea of Euless and Troy Bethea of Caddo Mills; a daughter, Bettye Allison of Quinlan; a brother, Thurman Bethea of Caddo Mills; a sister, Odessa May of Caddo Mills, and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Putman, Toad Cotner, Danny Payne, Dusty Payne, Coy Jenkins, Rodney English and Manless Bearding.
Rentfrow Funeral Home of Caddo Mills is in charge of arrangements.
