Mrs Sarah Willson Moffatt, beloved wife of T.W. Moffatt, passed away at the family residence, 305 West Fifth street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, following an illness that extended over the past several years. Mrs Moffatt was born in Orville, Canada, Nov 9, 1846, and has been a resident of Dubuque since her tenth year.
Her husband and three sons and three daughters are left to mourn her death: Mrs J. Frazee, Minneapolis, Mrs F.S. Wood, Winnipeg, Canada, Miss Elma, W.W. and Robert of Dubuque and James L. of St Paul.
The funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be made in the East Dubuque cemetery.
Mrs Moffatt was essentially a home woman devoting her life to husband and children.
