Renee "Lou" Adams, 45, of Athens, died at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2003 at her home.
Renee was born November 14, 1957 in Rockford, the daughter of Stanley Clarence and Mary Louise Larson Hoover.
Ms. Adams was a 1975 graduate of Lanphier High School. She was employed as Lodge Supervisor for Inner City Mission for six years and had previously been employed by Sojourn Shelter and Service. She was a member of South Side Christian Church and had also attended Abundant Faith Christian Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Dryce Parrish Hoover.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2003 with Scott Payne officiating. Cremation will follow services. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield at a later date.
