Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon May 7 at the Methodist church in Lake Park for Leonard Seidel, 59, of Milford. Mr Seidel passed away at his home on Saturday May 4, from a heart attack.

Leonard Wesley Seidel, son of Albert and Jennie Meyers Seidel, was born May 17, 1909 at Lake Park, Iowa. He attended school at Excelsior andspent most of his life in this community, being a retired farmer.

He was united in marriage to Helen Tuel on December 26, 1932 and this union was blessed with two daughters and a son. They are Sally, Mrs Carl Ingwersen, Lake Park, IA; Sue, Mrs LeRoy Bernier, Everly, Iowa and Murray, Portland, Oregon, and eight grandchildren.

Three brothers and two sisters also survive. [Can't read their names very well. May be: Hazen, Spirit Lake; Herbert, Abilene, Tx; George, San Diego, CA; Ruth, Mrs Albert ____meyer, _______ Fla; and Mary, Mrs Glenn McWaters, Desert Hot Springs, CA] and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs Carroll Burns was organist and Mrs Virginia McClain sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art."

Pallbearers were: Robert Eliason, Palmer Bush, Albert Swan, Perry Johnson, Harold Bahl and Virgil Perkins.

Rev. Harley Cartright officiated and interment was in the Silver Lake Mausoleum of Lake Park, Iowa under the direction of Leyson Funeral Home of Lake Park.
