Marjorie Lou Emma Over Curll, 85, of Clarion RD 3, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in Clarion Hospital. Born March 10, 1915, in Reidsburg, she was a daughter of Harry A. and Carrie E. Humphrey Over.

She was a 1932 graduate of Clarion High School. Mrs. Curll belonged to Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church in Sligo and also was a member of the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Women. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing the piano and singing hymns with her late husband. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Curll was married July 23, 1932, to Donald C. Curll, who died Dec. 28, 1998.

Surviving are two sons and their wives, D. Eugene and Kay Curll of Clarion and Jacque A. and Donna Curll of New Kensington; two daughters, Mrs. Max (Barbara) Runyan and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Cyphert, both of Clarion; 10 grandchildren, Brenda S. Schierberl and her husband, John, of Columbus, Ohio, Karen D. Curll of Indiana, Pa., Carey A. Curll and Bruce A. Curll and his wife, Kim, all of Gettysburg, Cathy J. Carey, Pamela R. Runyan and Lisa G. McClaine and her husband, Dana, all of Clarion, Kimberly A. Carnahan of Distant, David R. Cyphert and his wife, Mary, of Oil City, and Barbara L. Raybuck and her husband, David, of New Bethlehem; and 15 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Muir of Sligo and Mrs. Gladene Kline of New Bethlehem; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Curll was preceded in death by an infant son; sisters Allene, Twila and Connie Over of Reidsburg; and infant twin sisters.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Varner Funeral Home, Sligo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Reitz, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Sykesville, officiating. Interment will be in Churchville Cemetery, Curllsville.

The family suggests memorials be made to Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church, Route 68, Sligo 16255, or the Clarion-Forest VNA, Knox, 16232.
