MADILL -- Services for Goldie Imogene Blundell, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Kenneth McIntire officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Oakland.

Born Dec. 20, 1915, in Oakland to James Gazzard Monroe Fielder and Delie Levina Smith, she died Jan. 12, 2004, in Ardmore.

Goldie was raised in the Oakland-McMillan area and lived in Grantham and Oakland before moving to Ardmore nine years ago. She married Harrison Davis Blundell on Dec. 22, 1934, in Madill and was a member of the Grantham Baptist Church.

Goldie enjoyed quilting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Janette Rainer.

She is survived by four daughters, Fairy McHenry and her husband, John, Ardmore, Nancy Peek, Levina Blundell and Barbara Gibson and her husband, Joey, all of Madill; four sons, Davis Blundell and his wife, Marilyn, and Bill Blundell and his wife, Sue, all of Ardmore, Jack Blundell and his wife, Tammy, Cantonment, Fla., and Dean Blundell, Madill; a son-in-law, Cotton Rainer, Ardmore; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
