Newspaper Obituary 12 May 1911: Robert Angell Dies. Robert Angell aged 70, died last evening at 8:30 at the home of his daughter Mrs. W. Mest of Sugar Creek. His death was the result of a cancerous growth. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Sugar Creek Church conducted by Rev. S. I. Bishop of this city. Burial will be made in the Augustine Cemetery.

Newspaper Obituary 17 May 1911: Robert B. Angel was born at Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio. July 15, 1840 and died at the home of his daughter Mrs. W.M. West, Poston, Ohio age 70 years, 10 months and 6 days.
He was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Butts of Ironton, Ohio in 1868. To whom three children were born, one son and two daughters. Mrs. Annas West, the eldest survives. Mrs. T.J. Harris (may be wrong last name not legible) deceased of Zanesville, Ohio and Henry W. Angel deceased of Jackson, Ohio were his other children.
