Alicia (Recio) Lomblot, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at a Harlingen medical center. She was born December 26, 1934 in Premont, TX to Arturo and Paula (Hinojosa) Recio. She was the hostess and later manager for Palmetto Inn for 30 years. She moved to Harlingen from Falfurrias in 1964.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Lomblot of Harlingen, Texas; two daughters, Sylvia Lomblot (Robert Sefton) of San Diego, California and Laura Yvette Carlson of Rancho Viejo (Charles A. Carlson) of Laguna Vista, California; one son, Dr. Royal Lomblot, Lt. Commander U.S. Navy, of Naples, Italy; one brother, Manuel Recio of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Christina Carlson of Rancho Viejo, California and Liam Sefton of San Diego, California.

Funeral services held at Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, Texas. Funeral Mass held at The Saint Francis De Assisi Catholic Church in Rios, TX. Burial followed in the Santo Nino Cemetery, San Diego, Texas.
