Memorial Rites Planned for Henefer Veteran

Memorial services will be held for Staff Sergeant Grant Anderton, 20, at Henefer, Sunday, at 1:30 p.m., in the Henefer meeting house.
The body of the young veteran will arrive in Coalville Wednesday and will remain at the mortuary until Saturday when it will be taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderton.
Grant Wilson Anderton enterted the army December 12, 1942. He trained at Camp Howze, Texas, and was sent over to Africa, November, 1943, and then later to Italy, where at Anzio, February 26, 1944 he was killed.
He was a graduate of North Summit high school, and a priest in the LDS church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Ray Anderton, Henefer; four sisters, Mrs. H.E. Williams, Tucson, Ariz; Mrs. F.D. Williams, Fort Douglas; Mrs. Dee Burton and Mrs. Jack Arnold, Ogden.
