She graduated from George Washington High School and San Francisco City College and attended San Jose State University. She married Leonard Schlussel December 27, 1953 and lived in San Jose the remainder of her life. She loved playing bridge, scrabble, and poker. She even learned to use a computer so she could play bridge on-line. She persevered with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years but couldn't win against cancer and died at home.
