Following a long illness, Alice M. Lancaster died yesterday at her home in Fontana. She was 43 years old, and came to California 18 years ago from Missouri. With her husband, she first settled in Imperial valley, coming to Fontana last September, where they had an orange grove. She is survived by her husband, B. H. Lancaster; her mother, Mrs. Lucy Boor of Van Nuys, a daughter, Mrs. Nadine Powell of Kansas City, Mo., and two staters, Mrs. Ida Surlock of Alhambra and Mrs. Sarah Carter of Van Nuys. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday from the J. W. Woodhouse & Co. chapel. Burial will be in Park cemetery, Rialto.
