Virginia "Ginny" Long Anderson, 82, of Dublin, died suddenly on Monday, August 13, 2007, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Anderson; parents, Glenna & John Long, Sr.; and by a brother, John Long, Jr. Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Terri & Jeff Goad of Dublin; a son & daughter-in-law, Randy & Karen Anderson of Ashburn; three grandchildren, Abby Holbrook of Radford, and Wesley and Sarah Anderson of Ashburn; and a brother, Bill Long of Pawley's Island, SC. Ginny was employed by Bryan Huddle Jewelers in Radford for approximately 13 years and she will long be remembered for her beautiful smile and laughter. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her and especially by her two little angels who gave her much love and laughter, Alyssa and Olivia Altizer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Gina Rhea officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Mullins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1 Martin Drive, Suite 106, Charlottesville, VA 22903. The Anderson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
