Patsy Coulter, 71, of Moody, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, in Temple. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Shelton and the Rev. Mickey Fugitt officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery under the direction of Cole Chapel, 304 Eighth Street, Moody. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cole Chapel.

Patsy Jean was born in Eddy, Texas, to the late Marion Sherwood and Gertrude (Clendening) Crocker. She was a 1955 graduate of Bruceville-Eddy High School. On Aug. 4, 1956, she married James Robert Coulter in Temple. Much of her life was spent in the banking business having been employed with Citizens National Bank in Waco, Peoples Bank in Hewitt and more recently at First National Bank of Moody. Through her life, she enjoyed traveling and playing bingo at the VFW Hall in Temple. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Moody.

Surviving her are her husband, James R. Coulter; son, James "Rocky" Coulter, of Hewitt; daughters, Sheryl Morgan and Karen Welch, both of Moody; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
