Virginia Gin Francis Weber Niehaus age 86, was called home to her eternal reward on August 5, 2007. She had a kind and gentle spirit; she loved being surrounded by family and friends. She had many friends at The Altenheim Assisted Living Facility. She worked for the Indiana Department of Education Compensatory Education Division for over 20 years. Gin was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Niehaus, in 1984.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Carolyn Niehaus; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Gerald Schuster; and son, Dennis Niehaus. She had seven grandchildren; Karen Westerfield, Nancy Westerfield and Lisa Riddle; Delores Niehaus Baumann and William Niehaus; Pamela Niehaus and Jessica Niehaus. She had eleven great grandchildren: Wayne, David, Joseph, Krystall, Britney, Natalie, Courtney, Joshua, Amber, Amanda and Ashley. Three great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Margaret (Peg) Stull; two sisters-in-law, Ruth and Anna Weber and a brother-in-law, Melvin Holzer.
Services were entrusted to Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home of Indianapolis, Indiana.
