Aaron and Jane Lister Henson had Five Children. Aaron and Jane Lister Henson's five childen were, Thomas Carter(Tench)Henson, Nancy Elizabeth Henson Porter, William Henry Henson, David Hoke Henson, and Aaron Theodore Henson, Jr. No other children have been proven to be theirs and these children are the only ones who appear in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 Federal Censuses for Greenville County, South Carolina. Aaron, Sr, died around 1862 and Jane Lister Henson lived until about 1906 and never remarried. She was living with her son, Aaron, Jr. in the Ebenezer-Welcome Baptist Church Community at her death. As far as I know and from family tradition, they are burried in the Old Lister Family Cemetery, off Lister Road, without grave markers, as many of these Lister relatives chose. She was the daughter of Simon Peter Lister, M.D. and Esther Elizabeth Langley. She had the following siblings: Moses Hale Albert Lister, Thomas Carter(Tench) Lister, Rosa Linda B. Lister Morrow, Manerva Ann Lister Morrow, David Carr Lister, Mary Elizabeth Catherine(Polly) Lister Wingo, and Margaret P. Lister Langford.

It is believed that she was buried in the Lister Family Cemetery, but no readable stone has been found.
