Ora Scott Ellis, 84, of Route 4, Harrison died Wednesday, March 23 (1994) at North Arkansas medical Center in Harrison.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26 (1994) at Holt Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gregg Cantrell officiating. Burial will be at Denning Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
She was born Sept. 19, 1909 at Atlas, Mo. a daughter of Martin and Martha Pate Scott. She was a former resident of Searcy County, a member of the Batavia Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the Boone County Adult Day Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry "Buck" Ellis; two sons, Perry Ellis and Jack Ellis, and a great-grandson. She is survived by three sons, John Ellis of Harrison, Bennie J. Ellis of Harrison and Gary Ellis of Lonoke; two daughters, Phyllia Martin of Harrison and Sharon Allgood of Paris, Mo; 13 grand-children, and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Frederick, Joe Hacker, Howard Hicks, Carroll Mathis, Rex Morrow and Bill Ryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Shockley, Dr. Crider, Dr. Maris, Dr. Lee and the staff of the third floor at NAMC.
Memorials may be made to the Boone County Adult Day Care.
