Funeral for John A. Bergman, 80, of 3007 So. 11th, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Wadlow's, the Rev. Marvin Herrick officiating. Mr. Bergman died Tuesday after being stricken with a heart attack while mowing a lawn.

He had been a streetcar motorman and former employee of Bailey Sanitarium. He was a member of Southminster Evangeiical United Brethren Church.

Born in Germantown, Ill., Mr. Bergman had lived in Lincoln for more than 60 years.

Surviving are his wife, Rose, five sons, Will, John and Edward of Lincoln, Lloyd of Concordia, Kan., and Vernon of Hobert, Ind.; daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Reilly of Council Bluffs, Ia.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
